The International Students Union of SIEC is a studentorganizationunder the leadership of the Student Affair Office of the School of International Education and Cooperation, NSMC, which is committed to serving all international students of the College. It is committed to creating opportunities and providing effective services for harmonious exchanges between teachers and students, between international students and between international students and Chinese students; to eliminating all kinds of barriers or misunderstandings due to the lack of effective communication and exchanges; to the friendly exchanges of Chinese and foreign cultures and the construction of distinctive and infectious campus culture for international students; to the enhancement of international students‘ sense of ownership and the responsibility of our students; and to the enhancement of the international students’ sense of responsibility. It is committed to enhancing the sense of ownership of international students, assuming the responsibility of our students, and creating excellent messengers of Chinese-foreign cultural exchanges.

Its basic tasks are as follows:

1. To do a good job in coordinating and communicating with international students, to be a bridge and link between the College of International Education and Exchange and international students, to reflect the suggestions, opinions and requirements of international students, and to assist the university in solving the problems encountered by international students in their study and life;

2、Organise international students to carry out various activities such as study and life, science and technology, culture and sports, social practice, etc., and make efforts to serve the students;

3、Strengthen the teaching contact between teachers and students, understand the learning situation of students in the whole school, respond to the relevant departments in time, and help solve the problems of students in study and life.

4、Positively and effectively complete all the work tasks assigned by the management teacher.
