This teaching and research section takes it as its own responsibility to cultivate the Chinese language abilities of international students and spread Chinese culture, and is committed to creating an efficient, professional and internationalized Chinese learning environment.

The teaching and research section has gathered a teaching staff with rich teaching experience and profound academic attainments. Among them, there are both senior professors who have been long committed to the cause of international Chinese education and young scholars full of vitality and innovation spirit. Teachers are not only proficient in Chinese language teaching but also able to skillfully apply a variety of teaching methods and techniques to create a lively and interactive learning environment for international students. Meanwhile, we are also actively introducing and cultivating young talents to inject fresh blood and vitality into the teaching and research section.

Complete curriculum system: The Teaching and Research Section of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has constructed a comprehensive curriculum system ranging from beginner level to advanced level, from general Chinese to specialized Chinese (such as Medical Chinese), meeting the needs of international students at different levels and with different requirements to learn Chinese.

Innovation in teaching methods: Teachers actively explore and practice new teaching methods and means, such as task-based teaching, flipped classroom, online teaching, etc., aiming to stimulate students' learning interest and initiative and improve teaching effectiveness.

Integration of culture into teaching: In the teaching process, the teaching and research section pays attention to integrating elements of Chinese culture into Chinese teaching. Through forms such as cultural lectures and cultural experience activities, it enhances students' understanding and recognition of Chinese culture and promotes exchanges and integration between Chinese and foreign cultures.

The teaching and research section also undertakes the important tasks of Chinese teaching and research. We encourage teachers to actively participate in scientific research projects and publish academic papers to enhance the academic influence of the college. The project led by Yang Chunyun from the teaching and research section won the first prize of the school-level teaching achievement award in 2022.
