The winter holiday is coming. In order to do a good job of safety and mental health education for international students during the winter holiday, improve the awareness of safety prevention and epidemic prevention, and help students spend a civilized, safe, substantial and healthy winter holiday, on January 6, 2023, SIEC held a class meeting on safety and mental health, with more than 100 students attending.

At the meeting, teachers of SIEC paid attention to the study and living conditions of foreign students after returning to university, interpreted the recently updated management regulations for international students, and answered their questions. Teachers of International Students Office reminded students to strengthen their awareness of prevention of telecommunications and network fraud, keep own valuables well, and not participate in illegal works. At the same time, they emphasized the safety precautions during the holiday, and hoped that foreign students should do a good job of self-protection during the winter holiday, wear masks when traveling, and be the first person responsible for their own epidemic prevention. The counselors and teachers also conducted mental health education and guidance for the international students, and adjusted their mentality after returning to school as soon as possible to adapt to the study and life in China.

Finally, the teachers expected arrangement of the winter vacation for international students, hoping that they will enrich their professional knowledge and improve their level of Chinese language during the winter vacation, and continue to face the future university study and practice life in a positive state.
