On the afternoon of March 3rd, 2023, the new semester teaching seminar of the Teaching and Research Section of Chinese as a Foreign Language of SIEC (School of International Exchange and Cooperation) was held in the conference room on the 12th floor of Library Building. This teaching and research meeting was presided over by Xiao Fengling, dean of SIEC, and all teachers of foreign language teaching and research office attended.

At the beginning, Mr. Duan Shaoqi announced and explained the work plan of the teaching and research office this semester.

Firstly, completing the Chinese teaching task of this semester on time and with good quality. This semester, offline teaching for foreign students in China will be fully resumed. The teaching and research office will undertake a total of 10 courses and a total of 446 class hours. Teachers will implement teaching in strict accordance with the teaching schedule. The teaching and research office will implement strict teaching supervision and management to ensure teaching quality.

Secondly, standardize the management of curriculum archives. Collecting and sorting out the curriculum files of the past three years, revising the syllabus and other materials of each course according to the latest standards, and providing necessary reference materials and excellent research results for young teachers to open new courses.

Thirdly, organizing HSK examination. North Sichuan Medical College and Hankao International Education and Technology Co., Ltd. have successfully renewed the cooperation agreement. This semester, we will successively undertake HSK examinations to facilitate the participation of foreign students from Nanchong in the HSK exam.

Subsequently, associate professor Yang Chunyun introduced to the teachers of the teaching and research office the relevant requirements for the application of the "Sichuan Provincial Education Achievement Project", and listed in detail our strengths and the existing weaknesses and even gaps. He suggested that the teachers of the teaching and research office should make up for the weaknesses, expand their strengths, dare to innovate, and carry out diversified and high-quality education and teaching research around the project.

At the end of the teaching and research meeting, dean Xiao Fengling combed out the key work contents of the teaching and research office this semester, clarified the direction of scientific research projects and the guiding principles of project application of the teachers of the teaching and research office, and hoped that the teachers would actively host or participate in scientific research, fill in the research gaps, and promote the rapid development of the teaching and research office.
