To express the respect to life, develop the spirit of love and dedication and publicize the concept of community with a shared future for mankind, at 9 a.m. April 8th , 2023, through inviting the Golden Rainbow volunteer team, the international students of our school participated the blood donation activity, which was held by SICA.
At half past eight, April 8th, all of the international students were already waiting for the blood donation car. Although the cool wind blows, their sincere love warmed the cold weather. The members of association made an interview for them while they were waiting for blood donation. Their expression and kindness and enthusiasm in the answers moved everyone.
The activity started at 9 a.m. With the help of the members of association, international student filled the form in turn and took the blood donation in line. The activity continued in an orderly way. Although the pain of needle was frightening, everyone’s love and enthusiasm helped them to overcome the fear. Moved by the donation spirit of international students, the members of association also applied to donate their blood. The spirit of donation warmed everyone’s soul although the wind was cold.
After the donation, bread and milk was provided to ease the discomfort of the students, and they sat together and talked about their feelings about donating blood. In order to ensure the body health and nutrition of every blood donors, each person received a box of milk or nutrient drink.
Finally, everyone gathered to take a group photo to commemorate. In the joy and laughter, the blood donation activity of international students came to a successful end. The success of the blood donation not only reflects the love and dedication of the international students, but also makes everyone feel the existence of a community of shared future of mankind. Blood donation, is a kind of love dedication, but also the highest gift of life.
