On May 9, 2024, Cheng Dan, Political Commissar, Yang Xiaoyi, Team Leader, and He Chengmin of the Exit Entry Management Brigade of Nanchong Public Security Bureau, Instructor of the Exit Entry Management Brigade of Gaoping District Branch of Nanchong Public Security Bureau, visited our university to exchange ideas on the management of international students. Xiao Fengling, Dean of SIEC (School of International Education and Cooperation), Liu Bin, Director of the Security Department of the Security Office, and the counselors for international students attended this meeting.

At the meeting, both parties reviewed and summarized the achievements of our university's collaborative management of international students in China over the past years, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions on issues such as visa management, traffic safety, and the mechanism for handling foreign-related emergencies. Both parties have reached a high degree of consensus, agreeing that both the university and the local government should further leverage their respective strengths, strengthen information sharing, closely collaborate, and work together to improve the quality and level of international student management.

Through this in-depth and effective exchange, both sides have deepened their understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for the smooth development of international student management in the future.
