To strengthen the safety risk awareness of international students living off-campus and ensure their personal and property safety, on May 12th, the Dean of the SIEC (School of International Education and Cooperation), Xiao Fengling, led all teachers of the college to conduct visits to international students living off-campus.
During the visits, they inquired about the procedures for accommodation, asked about internships and living conditions, learned about the surrounding environment of the community, and checked for any safety hazards in their housing. Dean Xiao Fengling requested that international students living off-campus abide by laws and regulations, cooperate with local community management, pay attention to personal and property safety, and complete their internships with quality and quantity.
This visit was a powerful practice that delved into the frontline student community and conducted investigations and research. Through this visit, the college gained a more comprehensive understanding of the study and living conditions of international students living off-campus, identified various safety hazards in their off-campus housing, and made students feel cared for by the school.
