In order to spread the extensive Chinese language and culture and promote the beautiful exchange with world civilisation, the Chinese Language Skills Competition sponsored by the International Education Exchange College of North Sichuan Medical College and organised by the International Education Exchange Student Management Association was successfully concluded. The competition is divided into four parts: hard pen calligraphy competition, fun culture competition, poetry recitation and Chinese singing competition, which will be held for three days.

At 7 p.m. on May 30, the hard pen calligraphy competition began. The international students carefully wrote the designated poems on the Tianzi grid, and the atmosphere at the scene was tense, warm and orderly. Some of the international students looked relaxed, some frowned and carefully, but all of them were particularly focussed. After 30 minutes in a blink of an eye, the competition was over. The staff collected the calligraphy works of the international students and handed them over to the judges for review, and finally decided the best award.

Starting from 1:00pm on May 31, the Fun Cultural Competition consists of two projects: picking up certain items with chopsticks and Chinese typing competition. 5 groups (4 members in each group) are needed in the former activity, and the group that picks up the most items wins. Not until the competition began, the international students already cheered excitedly, encouraging each other, lighting up the atmosphere. After the game started, the classroom was filled with endless cheers, screams and constant suggestions among the team members. Team5 finally won the game with honor and happiness.

The Poem Recitation Competition and the Chinses Songs Competition held on June 1,7:00 pm have passed the ignited atmosphere down. The international students showed us the fruitful results of their Chinese study, which moves us all. The next singing competition pushed the atmosphere to a climax. Language has boundary, but not singing. The international students showed us their great voice and the Chinese songs they learned. At the end of the competition, three of them sang songs from their hometown, which made the audience clap and praise.

The competition fully demonstrated the achievements of international students in learning Languages of China and culture, enhanced their understanding of Languages of China and Chinese characters, and stimulated their enthusiasm for learning Chinese.
