In order to further improve the management of education and teaching for international students, guide new students to adapt to campus life, help them understand Chinese culture, and promote the sustained and healthy development of our school's education for international students in China, SIEC (School of International Education Cooperation) held a 2023 batch meeting for new international students in Room 1204 on the 12th floor of the Book and Information Building. Dean Xiao Fengling and relevant teachers from various departments attended the meeting, with a total of about 19 new students from Pakistan participating in this meeting.
First of all, the freshmen of class 2023 made brief self-introductions one by one. Then, on behalf of the college, President Xiao Fengling welcomed the arrival of the new students, and briefly introduced the situation of the college and the training of international students, encouraging students to learn Chinese culture and relevant professional knowledge, give full play to professional characteristics, and strive to become a qualified doctor as soon as possible.
Next, the director of the office, the person in charge of the Educational Affairs Section, the Student Affairs Section and the relevant teachers made brief introductions to themselves and the student-related management affairs they engaged in.
Finally, the "new" and "old" sides worked together to create a new chapter, passing down the tradition and forging ahead. 2018 MBBS internship student Amin provided warm reminders on issues such as punctuality, respect for teachers, and driving safety, and wished the new students a meaningful university life. In this joyful atmosphere, the teachers of SIEC took a group photo with all the new students participating in the meeting.
The successful holding of this meeting reflects the high importance of SIEC to the entrance education of international students and the adaptation to campus life, and hopes to further promote the improvement of the quality of the school for international students.
