To help international students improve their Chinese language proficiency, on November 1, 2023, the first phase of the HSK intensive training class at SIEC(School of International Education and Cooperation), North Sichuan Medical College was successfully held in Room 1203 of Library and Information Building. More than 50 international students have registered to participate in this training course, with the main speakers, Pu Changsong from the Teaching and Research Office of Chinese as a Foreign Language and 5 outstanding students from the International Student Management Association.
HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) is an international standardized Chinese language proficiency test designed specifically for non native Chinese language learners, aiming to test their proficiency in Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Our college offers three HSK intensive training classes every week for five weeks.
Intended to help international students quickly improve their Chinese proficiency in the short term and prepare for future internships and work in hospitals. The curriculum includes multiple aspects such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Through intensive training and practice, international students can reach a new level of proficiency in the use of Chinese.
The first lecture was taught by Teacher Pu Changsong, with Chinese students observing and learning teaching methods. In class, international students listen attentively and actively participate in classroom exercises, creating a very lively atmosphere. After class, international students all expressed that such targeted training courses effectively helped them understand HSK and developed a stronger interest in Chinese.
The HSK intensive training course provides a good learning environment and atmosphere for international students. In the training class, international students not only improved Chinese proficiency, but also increased the sense of identification with our school's culture through learning and communication with Chinese students. Our college will continue to conduct HSK intensive training classes as usual in the future, welcoming all international students who are willing to participate in the training and looking forward to their excellent results in their future studies.
