To support the national quality assurance system for international students in China and ensure the smooth completion of the quality certification for the English-taught undergraduate clinical medicine program for international students, the School of International Education and Cooperation at North Sichuan Medical College (NSMC) and the Teaching Evaluation Center jointly organized an online training session on the morning of March 28, 2025, in the academic lecture hall of the School of Basic Medicine and Forensic Medicine. The session was attended by members of the school's teaching supervision group, the teaching supervision group for international students, the teaching guidance committee for international students, and the special working group for the BMEIS project quality certification.

During the training session, a representative from the China Education Association for International Exchange provided a detailed interpretation of the certification rules. Professor Wu Qiang from Anhui Medical University systematically analyzed the certification index system. Dean Zhao Jiyang from Harbin Medical University and Vice Dean Du Hua from Southern Medical University shared their certification experiences based on their respective institutions' practices.

This training session further clarified the significant importance of quality certification for the English-taught undergraduate clinical medicine program for international students to the school's development. The participating units expressed their commitment to collaboratively advance the BMEIS project quality certification work, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the school's international education level.
