On the evening of July 6, 2024, the Jialing River Colorful Waterfront Wetland Park welcomed a unique music and cultural exchange feast. 16 international students from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other countries from our university attended this charity concert.
Before the concert, a special English communication salon event ignited the atmosphere at the scene. Young people from both China and other countries of Nanchong gathered together, sharing their cultural backgrounds and music preferences through relaxed dialogue and exchange, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship.
As the night deepened, the music exchange officially kicked off. On stage, young musicians from both China and other countries performed together, carefully selecting every piece from classical to modern, from east to west, aiming to showcase the magical power of music crossing national borders.
The Indian dance brought by CHATTERJEE POULAMI, a 2020 international student from our school, became a highlight of the concert. Dressed in colorful traditional attire, she showcased the unique charm of Indian culture with her exquisite dance skills and infectious expression, winning applause from the live audience.
International students from various universities in Nanchong were not only active in English corners, but also collaborated with local bands at concerts to perform multiple songs that blended Chinese and foreign styles.
This charity "Sino foreign Music Exchange concert " was not only a music gathering, but also a deep dialogue between culture and soul. Through dance and music, international students not only showcased their country's unique culture, but also found resonance in their interaction with Chinese culture, which has further contributed to this charity concert.
The successful holding of this concert not only promoted cultural exchange and understanding between China and foreign countries, but also made positive contributions to building a more harmonious and diverse social environment in Nanchong.
