On the afternoon of July 11, 2024, Xiao Fengling, Dean of SIEC (School of International Education and Cooperation), and Liu Shangqing, Vice Dean, respectively held special Party lectures on "Deep Study and Detailed Understanding of the Connotation and Essence of the 'Six Disciplines', Based on the Position, Refining Self awareness and Practicing Party Discipline Education Requirements" and "Learning Discipline, Knowing Discipline, Clarifying Discipline, and Guarding Discipline" in the conference room on the 12th floor of the Libruary and Information Building. All faculty and staff of SIEC joined the Party lecture report.

Xiao Fengling profoundly explained the connotation and significance of " Deep Study and Detailed Understanding of the Connotation and Essence of the 'Six Disciplines', Based on the Position, Refining Self awareness and Practicing Party Discipline Education Requirements." She emphasized that the Party members and cadres must consciously cultivate themselves through comparison and inspection, frequently strengthen tempering in political life, keep a firm political direction, always bear in mind the deployment requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee, and keep up with the pace of the Party Central Committee in action. Through continuous learning and practice, Party members and cadres can better fulfill their duties, be loyal, clean, and responsible, and become qualified party members who can reassure the party and the people.

Liu Shangqing emphasized in his report that strong Party spirit, fine style and strict discipline are the distinctive features of the CPC. Party discipline learning is a fine tradition and political advantage of the Party, as well as a lifelong compulsory course for Communist Party members.

Through learning, everyone expressed that tempering themselves at their posts is not only their duty, but also a manifestation of loyalty to the Party; they should always use Party discipline as a yardstick to move forward steadily.
