On the afternoon of June 27, 2023, the working meeting of the Teaching Supervision Group for international students at SIEC (the School of International Education and Cooperation) was successfully held in the conference room on the 12th floor of the Library and Information Building. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Song Guiqin, the head of the Teaching Supervision Group, and was attended by expert members of the group, as well as leaders and faculty members from SIEC.

Firstly, Vice Dean Liu Shangqing of SIEC read out the establishment document of the 2nd Teaching Supervision Group for international students, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the expert members of the supervision group for their consistent assistance and support in teaching international students. Vice Dean Liu encouraged the experts to take their respective departments as a starting point and actively supervise and guide the teaching of international students, striving to improve course records and standardize the teaching process. Ms. Song Guiqin then presented the "Guidelines for Teaching Supervision of International Students at North Sichuan Medical College (Revised in 2023)" and introduced the responsibilities and work standards of the Teaching Supervision Group for international students. Subsequently, the attending experts engaged in vigorous discussions on topics such as how to further standardize the management of international student education and enhance the quality of teaching. Numerous effective suggestions were put forward.

In conclusion, Liu Shangqing emphasized the necessity and importance of the supervision work in the entire management process of international student education. He expressed his hope that the teachers of the supervision group would fulfill their responsibilities diligently, contribute to the improvement of the quality of teaching international students, and ensure a steady increase in the quality of education provided to international students.
