As the 28th "World Book Day" is approaching, April 19, 2023 in Nanchong City. The Shunqing District's "The Origin of the Three Kingdoms Shunqing" national reading activity kicked off. The international students of our university also actively participated in this activity under the organization of the International Education Exchange College with our sound of reading and writing.

The event was sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Nanchong Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Municipal National Reading Activity Steering Committee, the Shunqing District Party Committee, and the district government. More than 10,000 people from all walks of life in Nanchong, representatives of primary and secondary schools, and representatives of colleges and universities were organized to participate. The main venue of the park, 4 cultural tourism sites and 8 schools simultaneously carry out reading activities.

On the morning of the same day, RAJAT JANGRA, a 2017 international student of our school, and SHARMA AYUSHEE, a 2018 international student from our school, opened the recitation program "Three Kingdoms" in the form of sketches in the main venue of Beihu Park, attracting laughter from the audience. The other 4 students from our school, MUHAMMAD JAWAD SHAUKAT, ZAHEER ABDULLAH, DINDA ALIFIAH FATHANAH, and NAFISA ISLAM, were at the branch venue where the historian Chen Shou wrote the book—Nanchong Xishan Wanjuan Building, together with primary school students from Nanchong Xishan Foreign Language Experimental School and many schools in the district. Together with the teachers of the school, dressed in traditional Hanfu, holding the "Three Kingdoms" in their hands, they recited the famous lines that have been passed down through the ages.
After the event, DINDA ALIFIAH FATHANAH, an Indonesian international student, said in an interview with Nanchong TV: "I am very honored and happy to climb the Wanjuan Tower and read "Three Kingdoms". As an international student, I like Chinese traditional culture very much. I will learn professional knowledge here, learn more about traditional culture, and share it with my family and friends.”
