2024 Chinese Language Tutoring Activity for International Students Successfully Held

To effectively improve the Chinese language proficiency of international students and further promote friendly communication between Chinese and foreign students, the School of International Education and Cooperation successfully organized a Chinese language tutoring activity on the evening of November 29, 2024.

The event adopted a unique tutoring model, with each group consisting of two Chinese students and four international students. This approach made full use of the Chinese students’ language advantages to provide more detailed and personalized tutoring for the international students. Through various exercises and activities, the international students practiced Chinese expression in a relaxed and enjoyable environment while receiving timely corrections on grammar and pronunciation. One of the highlights was the “Write Chinese Characters Based on Radicals” game, which allowed international students to personally experience the charm of Chinese characters and deepen their understanding of their structure through writing. The atmosphere of Chinese language learning on site was vibrant.

This activity, through fun games and a relaxed atmosphere, enhanced the Chinese language skills of international students and built a bridge of communication between Chinese and foreign students. It promoted mutual understanding and tolerance among students from different cultural backgrounds, helping international students better integrate into campus life while deeply experiencing the unique charm and rich cultural heritage of Chinese characters.
